How I work

In essence
Helping the body find its way back.
Through acupuncture and gentle somatic work, I support people when something doesn’t feel quite right — physically, mentally, or somewhere underneath it all. My approach is quiet and attentive, guided by what the body is doing in the moment. Rather than forcing change, the work supports the body to settle, reorganise, and return to a more natural state of balance.
Acupuncture
Each session begins as a conversation with the body — a meeting with what’s here now.
In clinic, this is primarily through acupuncture, sometimes supported by gentle touch, moxa, or other simple methods. The focus is on listening - not just to symptoms, but to how the body is responding as a whole. From there, subtle interventions help release tension, restore flow, and support the nervous system to settle. The aim isn’t to impose change, but to create the conditions for the body to remember its own rhythm. Over time, this can bring a greater sense of ease, clarity, and stability.

What I can help with

Stress
Stress often shows up first in the body — as tension, restlessness, fatigue, or difficulty settling.
Acupuncture can help regulate the nervous system, allowing the body to move out of a constant state of pressure and alertness. As the system begins to settle, tension softens and a greater sense of ease and clarity can return. Rather than treating stress as purely mental, this approach works with the whole body - supporting its natural rhythms and restoring balance. Over time, many people find they are able to respond to life with greater steadiness and resilience.
Trauma
Trauma is often held in the body long after the original experience has passed.
Through careful listening and acupuncture, the body is supported to find its own way toward healing. Rather than forcing change, the work helps the nervous system settle, regulate, and return to balance. Nothing is overridden or pushed. Instead, space is created for the body to feel safer, more present, and more at ease. Over time, this can restore a deeper sense of stability and connection.
Burnout
Burnout often builds gradually — when the body has been under strain for too long without enough space to recover.
It can show up as fatigue, poor sleep, low mood, or a sense of being constantly wired or depleted. Through acupuncture, the nervous system is given space to settle. Tension can begin to soften, and the body can return to a more natural rhythm. Rather than pushing for change, the work supports a slower unwinding — helping the system move out of constant effort and into a state where rest and recovery are possible. Over time, this can restore a steadier sense of energy, clarity, and resilience.
Sleep
Sleep problems often arise when the body is unable to settle or fully switch off.
By easing tension and restoring the body’s natural flow, acupuncture can support deeper relaxation and more restful sleep. Rather than simply targeting symptoms, the work focuses on the whole system - helping the nervous system settle and the body return to balance. As tension softens and the system recalibrates, sleep often becomes deeper, more restorative, and more in rhythm with the body’s natural cycles.
Digestive Issues
Digestive issues often reflect deeper imbalances in the body’s natural rhythms.
Acupuncture can help regulate the nervous system and ease underlying tension, supporting the body in addressing symptoms such as bloating, indigestion, IBS, and acid reflux. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, the work supports the whole system - helping restore balance so digestion can function with greater ease.
Pain Management
Pain often signals that the body has lost balance somewhere in the system.
Through acupuncture, the nervous system can settle and areas of tension begin to soften, allowing the body’s natural healing processes to come forward. Rather than simply masking discomfort, the aim is to support the body in recalibrating and returning to balance. Many people find this helpful for ongoing conditions such as back pain, migraines, arthritis, or long-standing patterns of tension.
